This afternoon I went into our garden to gather some things and I made this flower arangement.
I love making flower arangements!

I use to have a part time job at the gardencenter where I gave demonstrations in how to make flower arangements, kids craft workshops and kids birthday parties. It was a great job!But unfortunately I couldn't combine it with my other job at the bakery . So I stopped with my job at the garden center last april.
I made this wreath for our kitchen wall, I put macaroni on a wreath and I painted it white. It looks great on our kitchen wall!
These are fabric pumpkins I made last year.

I have done some knitting this week.
This is going to be a pullover for myself. It's made from a lovely soft yarn.I used to knit a lot for my kids when they where small, but then they reached the age that they didn't want to wear anything that was made by their mum........
So now I'm knitting for myself and for birthday presents, christmas presents and so on. I recently joined a dishcloth knit-along group and there I found this great pumpkin pattern.I couldn't resist it and had to make one!
That group has 2 knit-alongs every month. One at the beginning of each month and one in the middle of the month. This one is the latest one and I LOVE the pattern.I'm thinking of making a scarf from that pattern too.

This was the dishcloth from the beginning of the month kal. I have showed a picture when I was still working on it.Here it is finished.
This top I made a while ago from a pattern that is in the book stitch n bitch from Debbie Stoller. There are some great patterns in it.One thing that I want to knit as soon as my pullover is finished is the boob tube.
I hope that everybody has a lovely weekend.

We have done a lot of work in our vegetable garden lately. We where a bit behind with weeding and we also harvested a lot.I have several pumpkins and this was the biggest one and I couldn't resist bringing it home allready.
I just love pumpkins!!!!
We have a couple more but they are smaller so we let them grow a little bit more.

This is another dishcloth I'm making from the monthly dishcloths kal.I really love the pattern and I'm waiting till we receive the part of day 3.

This is something I made a while ago, it's decoupage with paper napkins.

I love doing that!

We had a nice weekend, it was such lovely and sunny weather that when my family came for my birthday we where able to sit in the sun the whole time.Unfortunately it seems that somewhere around the end of the week it's going to rain again. So we better enjoy this weather now. When I'm ready writing this post I might go to our vegeatable garden and work a bit in it.
I want to show you a couple of photo's of my cat Diesel.
Yesterday I finished folding some laundry, I just went into the kitchen for a moment and when I came back Diesel was laying in my laundry basket. He loves to sleep in baskets, here he found some empty laundry baskets.

And here he is laying under the rabbit cage.

It's almost weekend!!!!!!!

The weather here in the Netherlands is lovely and sunny. They say that we will have the same weather during the weekend. That's great.
On Sunday my parents and my sister , husband and kids are coming for my birthday and it would be nice if we could sit outside.

Here are some photo's of our livingroom and kitchen.

This weekend I'm hoping to finish my ripple afghan and I want to work some more on my pink quilt.I haven't made a photo of it yet,I will do that tomorrow.
I hope that everybody has a lovely weekend.

I allmost forgot to post my dishcloths......
This is the September dishcloth from the monthly dishcloth kal. It was fun to do and we didn't know first what the pattern was but yesterday I guessed it was a leaf. Today we got the final rows and we heard that it was indeed a leaf, an oak leaf. When I'm finished here I will knit the last couple of rows.
I can't wait to get started on another one!
And here are 2 other dishcloths that I was working on lately. The right one is a crochet one.
I saw a wonderful post over at Hulda's blog about candlesticks, so I thought to show you some of mine.
So here are some of my favourite candlesticks.

This one is an antique french glass jar

This is also an antique french glass jar and a lovely enamel ware candlestick.
And some other favourites.

I was looking for some dishcloth patterns on internet when I found the monthly dishcloth kal. It seems like a lot of fun so I joined them. I was already working on this pink dishcloth and when I have this finished I'm starting with the september kal. They send an email each day with parts of the pattern, 7 rows each time. So it's a big suprise how it will look in the end.

This is a cross stitch of Marjolein Bastin, she is a famous artist from the Netherlands.I have made this some time ago but I wanted to show it. It's so lovely!
There was a big fair that lasted 3 days here in town and I was able to buy these knitting magazines for just 1 Euro. There are some great patterns in them. One of the things that I want to make is the hat, it looks great!

And I also bought some yarn on that fair,I really love the pink and lilac colours and it's real soft.
Well, As soon as I have finished this post I'm going to knit!

Have a lovely Friday.
