I have 1 more photo of a swap .
This is what I send for the vintage christmas swap to Lia . I had a lot of fun making things and searching for vintage items on fleamarkets and thriftshops. I still have to make some extra photo's of the wonderful things that Lia send to me.

Recently I have completed my magic yarnbal and it's send to my swap partner ,it's a Dutch swap and we have secret partners. It was such a great swap! I can't place a photo of it here because then I won't be a secret swap partner anymore Ü........

I went to a couple of bookstores here to buy some Christmas magazines from other countries. I couldn't find them anymore!!!!!! They just have stopped selling Christmas magazines from other countries .... can you believe that!
That's so sad for me cause I love those christmas magazines.
Is there anybody that might be interested in a christmas magazine swap with me????
I would be thrilled if there is , please let me know.

I went to the first Stitch and Bitch day here in the Netherlands last Saturday, and I had a wonderful time!
It was held in an old factory and there was room for lots of knitting and talking, you could buy lots of beautiful yarns and knitting books. And there where lectures and workshops. The big event for me was that Debbie Stoller was also there.I have one of her books and I love it. Of course I had to buy her latest book , the Happy Hooker.
She also signed her books there. I went to one of her lectures and to her workshop about crochet. I had a great time.
I also went to a shadow kniytting workshop.
I had a lot of fun that day and also learned some things.I forgot the bring my camera with me so there are no photo's of that day.....
I will make some photo's of the lovely yarn that I bought when the battery is loaded afgain.

I bought this lovely snowman head last week, it's so cute.
I was in a wonderful swap for the elves: a vintage christmas swap. I will post photo's of what I send when my swap partner receives hers. Here is what I received from my swap partner Lia. I will make more photo's of it after the batteries are loaded again. I loved all the wonderful things she send me.

Here are some christmas cones I made for another swap. I also want to make some to send to friends and for myself.

Then another swap. I found a wonderful site about swapping a little while ago, it's called gimme your stuff. I found a nice lady from Singapore that wanted to swap with me. She sended lots of nice things. I specially LOVE the japanese knitting magazine, it's full with lots of beautiful things. There is no photo of what I send to her , becuase I forgot to make a photo of it..............

I recently joined a yahoo group for a magic ball swap.I was very happy when I opened the parcel and found this lovely ball of yarn in it.There are a couple of gifts put inside the ball and some where on the outside. Now I'm searching for a pattern so I can start knitting with this beautiful yarn and of course so I can see what my swap partner has put in it..........exhiting!!!!!!!
She also made me a beautiful patchwork card.I'm very curious who was my swap partner, as it was a secret swap.
I'm still working on mine but I hope to have it ready in a couple of days.

And here are some brooches I received from another swap I was in. It's the pin/ brooche swap from swap-bot. I have received some beautiful crochet brooches and also a bird brooche but I seem to have lost that photo. Wednesday, November 01, 2006

I don't know what's wrong with blogger, but it won't let me post pictures......
I wanted to show some pictures of some wonderful things I found at our thriftshop yesterday.
I found a lovely white pillow with a small flower on it, a blue baby blanket that I might turn into a bag, a lovely piece of fabric, some pink vintage knitting needles and a small yar with some beautiful buttons in it. All this only costs 2 euro and 10 cents.

I was real happy when I went home with my treasures.
I hope that I can post the pictures soon.

On 18 November I'm going to the first Dutch Stitch and bitch day in Rotterdam. I just can't wait !!!!! So when I found out about this day , I was very happy. They have aranged a couple of things and 1 of them is that Debbie Stoller is coming. How great is that!!! Unfortunately nobody I know likes to knit and want to come with me to that day, but I have decided that I will go anyway.

It's such lovely autumn weather that we decided to take a walk through the forrest last sunday.I was hoping to see lots of beautiful colours, but most of the trees where still green.I was told that because of the mild weather most of the leafs where still green. When it turns colder and starts a bit to freeze the leafs will turn in those beautiful colours. We still saw some beautiful things.
I really like this picture with the horses.

Then we also saw lots of beautiful mushrooms.

Soon I hope to make some pictures of a forrest in beautiful colours.
