I'm knitting some socks again, this is wonderful coloured yarn from Regia. The pattern is lovely and very easy so I can knit this while watching tv.

I have received some lovely malabrigo yarn and some other lovely yarn from Eileen through a swap over at Ravelry and I will post a photo in my next post.

And finally we had some snow!!!!!!!!! We all hoped we would had some snow on Christmas, instead we had it on Easter.

I'm finally back again!

I have a lot of catching up to do on the blogs as well.
Since recently I'm working full time instead of 15 hours a week at the bakery, plus our house is for sale so I have to keep it very tidy and clean all the time.
We have bought a new house and it will be ready hopefully March 2009. We're all really looking forward to it. Most of the time I think time goes by way too fast but now it's going too slow Ü.

I have been knitting a bit and I have made some photo's. But first I have to get them on the computer and I will do that this weekend.

Here is a hat I knitted for my daughter. it's very difficult to get a good picture of it. I might have to ask her to model it for a good photo.

I was in a valentines exchange and this is what I received from Chantal.It was all lovely wrapped . And I received a great cd, a keychain with lovely beads and a heart, a bag for storage of my slippers and a lovely crochet and patchwork magazine.

I can't show the things I made her because unfortunately she hasn't received it yet. I truly hope it will arrive soon. I don't know why it takes so long.........

Chantal was also the one that gave me a award, a you make my day reward. I was so happy to receive that award! Thank you very, very much!

I guess lots of people allready received that award so I won't send it , but I think all you people deserve it.

I'm making some socks of this wonderful yarn I received from my swap partner from sp11. It's gorgious yarn and I love knitting with it.


I have been to the first snb evening of the snb group in Etten Leur. It's a very nice group of woman, we chatted a lot, done some knitting, looked at several nice knitting books and we all had a lovely evening.


I have bought some fabric so I can start with another quilt as soon as my small wallhanging is ready.

And these lovey fabrics I have bought last year on our weekly market. It's lovely dutch fabric and I'm going to use that for several projects.

Here is my cat Diesel on his favourite spot where he can watch everything that comes by Ü.

This week I made this lovely hot pad for my teapot.I have put lots of lavender in it so when the hot teapot is on it the room smells lovely. I hand quilted the heart and it gives a great effect.

And here is finally the swap I received from Teresa. She made me this lovely scarf, look at those beautiful stitches! She also send me some yarn so I can make mittens. It's gorgious!

She also made me this lovely dishcloth.

I also received some lovely chocolates but they where gone before I could get the camera....

And I received a lovely stitchery kit but somehow I removed the photo from the camera and now I'm working on it. I will show it here when it's done.

And I have been in a wonderful secret santa swap over at chookyblue. For my swap partner I made the post bag I wrote about in an earlier post and this is what I received from my secret santa. I managed to wait with opening it untill christmas morning! It was hard but I managed.
I just love the fabric that Janet used for the notebook, and look at that gorgious buttons!!!!!!

She also send me this wonderful card of a lovely Quilt card, inside is the patern for this gorgious stitchery that I definately want to make. So thanks again very much Janet.

Here are finally some photo's of my house decorated for Christmas.I allways love to decorate for Christmas , but this year I'm a little late. During the next couple of days I will decorate a bit more and place the photo's here.



The cutlery box I found at a thriftshop and I was so thrilled to find it as it was very cheap. it's from Riviera Maison and normally that is a bit expensive.

These lovely tins and the little doll I have found at a new shop here in town, it's a Danish shop. They sometimes have the cutest things.

This doll is from the same shop, cute huh !!

These are my advents candles, the hearts I made from lead. I really like them a lot.

Here are some photo's of things I have made lately.
Most of them where for swaps that I participated in.
This one is a favourite of mine and I'm going to make one for myself too. The pattern came from the wonderful book Christmas presents from Tone Finnanger. I got that book for my birthday along with a book for Spring. I really love the style of Tone Finnanger and I'm definately going to make lots of things from the books.



I made this bag from vintage fabric and I also used vintage lace and buttons. I really like that bag. I hardly could say goodbye to it when I send it to it's new owner Ü.
